With 5 years of recruitment and placement for eBooster.ch and a decade of supporting brilliant students at the University of Geneva as a Mentor, then as Director of the Digital and Luxury Masters at CREA, one constant has emerged. to me: soft skills make the difference.

 

Whether it is finding the perfect candidate for a strategic project or guiding students towards academic and professional excellence, I have constantly observed that technical skills, although essential, are far from sufficient because They don’t make a difference over time!


It is this adaptability, this ability to communicate, this emotional intelligence and this perseverance that truly distinguishes a Talent. These are the qualities that our client-managers recognize the most in our Talents, well above the technical ability of a job.

This is why at eBooster, all our candidates take an “Assessment” which allows us to address these questions, in 3 points:

So what are these famous qualities which in certain situations are most appreciated by Managers?

Here are several examples of situations and qualities that we have most often heard from a team manager:

1. Communication

“I liked the way she presented the project during our last team meeting. His ability to articulate complex activations so clearly was truly impressive.“

 “Despite a tense context, he was able to remain calm and respond effectively to our client, who left his planning meeting delighted.

3. Adaptability
